Join us for our 27th Annual Garden Success Show at our Fountain store location, 4720 Center Valley Drive, Fountain, Co. 80817. It’s free, fun, and family friendly! Friday March 10:

9:30 a.m. Lawn Care for the Pikes Peak Region.  Learn how to rejuvenate your lawn after winter, weed control, seeding, fertilizing, and best lawn care practices. You can have the greenest lawn on the block and be the envy of all your neighbors. 

11:00 a.m. Lawn Seeding the Spencer’s Way. From proper seeding techniques to seed varieties for those hard to plant areas, we will help you through it. 

2:00 p.m. Growing Seedlings to Plants. Learn where we get some of our bedding plants from and how they are grown. From seedlings to ready to plant varieties, we think you will find this seminar informative and fun. 

Saturday March 11:

9:30 a.m. Basic Insecticides and Proper Use. If you’ve ever struggled with aphids, grubs, mites, and other pests, we’ve got the solution. Common problems with lawns, bedding plants, vegetables, and trees and shrubs, can be treated with a variety of insecticides. We will discuss natural, organic treatments, as well as alternative methods. 

11:00 a.m. Desert Canyon Farms Presents :Back to the Basics. How to grown and use herbs especially for the Pikes Peak Region. This is a great way to incorporate herb gardening into your landscape and enjoy them in your cooking as well! 

1:00 P.M. Welby Gardens Presents “What’s New For 2023” Annuals and Perennials. This seminar is always a must. Show off new plant varieties in your yard and be the envy of the neighborhood!

2:30 p.m. Monrovia Nursery Presents a Tree and Shrub Seminar. New, as well as tried and true varieties will be discussed. You can get all your tree and shrub questions answered here! 

3:30p.m. Seed Starting. Have you ever wanted to start seed varieties yourself inside? This basic class will discuss best seeds for indoor starting, proper starting times, soils, fertilizing, and transplanting. 

Sunday March 12th

1:00 p.m.  Pikes Peak Rose Society Presents: Companion Planting for Roses. Plants to enhance and grow around your roses will be featured.

2:00 p.m. Basic insecticides and Proper Use. A great way to learn how to control and eliminate those pesky insects in your lawn and garden. 

3:00 p.m. Kids Seed Starting. This is a fun class for children in basic seed starting. They will have the opportunity to plant seeds, label them, and learn all about the seed they have chosen.
